Purpose
The purpose of the Valley Bible Church Missions Committee is to encourage, send, serve and support our missionaries and members of our body, in fulfilling the great commission within our local community, the Connecticut Valley, and throughout the world, to the Glory of God.
Opportunities

Pray – Without the foundation of prayer, their effectiveness can be diminished. You can pray for a specific missionary with specific needs, or for many missionaries, or just pray in general. Also, participate in National and Global Day of Prayer events.

Write/Email – Missionaries in the field often need to hear news from back home. Getting a short letter/card/email of encouragement can go a long way in lifting their spirits and keeping them encouraged in their work setting.

Local Outreach – Includes Bridgeport ICARE Days, Rest Home Ministry and the ABC Women’s Center.

Short Term Mission Trips – Hurricane Katrina Rebuild, trips to help our supported missionaries with projects in countries like El Salvador, Chile, Honduras, India, Mongolia, Poland and etc.
